Outstanding Cornell memory: The first night at Cornell, walking into the lounge and seeing the people I would spend my first year with, made me realize I was at home.
How has your life
differed from what you expected? I didn’t expect to be a world traveler: Arthur
and I have been to every continent. In addition, we have time shares in
Cornell activities post-grad: Class of 1961 Alumni News correspondent for 10 years following graduation; CAAN – Interviewing prospective college students; Member of Cornell Club of Westchester.
Personal reflections: Every time I go back to Cornell I get a thrill. Just walking on campus, even downtown into Wegmans and seeing all the students in their Cornell sweatshirts makes me happy. When my daughters graduated from Cornell I felt bereft that a piece of me would no longer be walking the campus. Although I didn’t find true love at Cornell (Arthur didn’t come into my life until 1964), I found true friends and enough wonderful memories to enrich my life forever.
