Gary Poser passed away in NYC in 1993 and was survived by a son and a daughter who were living in Newport, Rhode Island.
He graduated Harvard Medical School in 1965 and was a psychiatrist in Newport before leaving medicine to pursue other interests.
Gary was a gifted writer and I still remember, 50 years after graduation, that he wrote this haiku:  I fear you because you have scratched my back where I alone have the itch.
