KOLBER--Fred, died peacefully in his home in Miami Beach, Florida on November 25, 2016. He was best known for his quick-witted sense of humor, generosity and kind heart. Fred was born in Brooklyn in 1939 to Kate and Sam Kolber. He had a successful career on Wall Street, founded a successful hedge fund and later a real estate company. Fred loved to travel and see the world. His interests included golf, backgammon and the theater. He was the recipient of a liver transplant in 1986. He is survived by wife Camilla Kolber, her sons Herbert and Max and her grandchildren; his children Samantha, Francesca, Anna and Carl and his grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers Mark and Philip Kolber.
